Halloween is creeping up and we’ve got the best DIY’s for an easy Halloween party or craft night! Watch Karina & Erin live on the CW’s Winging It! Buffalo Style here.
Glitter Chevron Pumpkin
What you’ll need:
- Small-Medium Pumpkin
- Painters tape/masking tape
- Glitter
- Mod Podge
- Scissors
- Sponge applicator/paint brush
Cut tape into evenly sized sections and apply in two rows.
Apply Mod Podge with sponge applicator or paint brush and generously sprinkle glitter. Let dry overnight and carefully peel off tape. You can touch up using a q-tip and Mod Podge and reapply glitter in any spaces that need filling.
Alternatively, you could do a solid glitter pumpkin that’s very simple!
Pumpkin Cooler
This is an easy DIY that will be sure to impress your guests! Just cut off the top of the pumpkin and scoop, fill with ice and beverages.
Glitter Pumpkin Coasters
These are a great addition to any party, for other holidays you can simply swap out the shape and color. What you’ll need:
- Pumpkin cutouts (We found ours at AC Moore)
- Glitter adhesive paper
- X-acto knife
Simply trace and cutout the pumpkin shape using an X-acto knife. The glitter paper is adhesive, so peel off and place on the wooden pumpkin!
Hostess Gift
We decided on these super cute, mini skulls by Martha Stewart that split in half. So here’s what you’ll need:
-
Mini cardboard skulls
-
Glitter
-
Mode Podge
-
Sponge applicator/paint brush
- Candy – Remember, this lil’ guy is a gift for your hostess. She can use the skull as Halloween decor and open it up for a little personal treat.
