World MasterCard Fashion Week

Karina, Curt, and I headed north to Toronto for World MasterCard Fashion Week for the Melissa Nepton show, a Montreal based designer. This was our first, but certainly not last visit to WMC Fashion Week. Round two will be in March and we’re making sure to be there.

Melissa Nepton’s spring line, a cruise collection, was filled with pastels, black & white, stripes, and very sheer fabrics. The stripes were reminiscent of Marc Jacobs S/S 2013 line, while the pastels and hair reminded me of Chanel resort 2013.

After the show, we met up with Justine of Whatever..Eurotrash for the Kenton Magazine x Whatever Eurotrash after party before heading back; where Karina coveted Justine’s Italian made cap.

WWMD? S/S 2013 Favorites

Now that Fashion Month is finally over, I decided for this week I would pick my favorite looks, which was harder than I thought, but these 28 looks from New York to Paris give you a sense of what I might go shopping for. For those who are lucky enough to purchase RTW clothing in advance, a lot of these items can be purchased on Moda Operandi. Now if I could get my hands on these items, I’d be the coolest girl ever for at least a month

On Wednesday evening, KC You There hosted a bloggers dinner at Seabar (thanks, Visit Buffalo Niagara!) welcoming the out of towners who came to cover Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week. Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week High Fashion Shoot

KC You There was behind the scenes at the kick off to Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week, a high-fashion photo shoot with a theme I am in love with- modern day fairy tales. Dresses designed by Jimmylee designs (you can see him Thursday at the main runway event), handbags by Vania & David, headpieces by Franci Jewelry, and the men wore Tuxedo Junction. Hair by Corto’s and the makeup team was lead by Chrystal Graham, Maria Redd, and Neisha Colon.
