BSC Runway 5.0

Last Saturday, we (Erin & Karina) headed to the Pierce Arrow Factory on Elmwood Ave for Runway 5.0: Synthesis, a student run fashion show from Buffalo State College, now in its 5th year. The show featured collections by students, alumni and faculty. It also featured two challenges, the Cotton Inc. challenge and New Era + Vitaminwater + You and Who Project. The students faced not only their viewers, but a scholarship as well. Their lines were judged by a number of top professionals in the fashion industry like, Jeff Lee – VP of Visual Merchandising for Aeropostale, Andy Beller – Graphic Designer for American Eagle, Ruth Cooney – Designer for Victoria’s Secret PINK, Gina Ross – Senior Management, Product Development for New Era, to name a few. A huge congratulations the winners, everyone truly did an amazing job.

One of our favorite collections, by senior Faith Scheffer.
