Yesterday was the 4th of July, Independence Day for the United States. I could come up with cool selections that can show off your American pride and make our city of the week Washington, D.C. A city that I am very familiar with considering I work in it and go by a few of the city’s monuments. Clearly that didn’t happen and isn’t my style at all to be that cliché (plus the fireworks in DC aren’t that great). I actually figured out where I wanted to go this week from trying on my granny’s full length fur coats, don’t worry they were faux. How did I get Monte Carlo from trying on fur coats? Who knows with my thinking but we find ourselves in the country of Monaco that borders France. I chose the city of Monte Carlo because of the Formula 1 races, a Selena Gomez movie and the Casino that hosted the European Poker Final among many other events.

The three outfits range from exploring the city to a night out at the Casino. The first outfit is comprised of a charming crocheted mini dress with YSL wedges that will be perfect for shopping and exploring the sites of Monte Carlo. Obviously the second outfit is a Zimmermann bikini for lying out on the beach and I paired it with a maxi skirt so you can grab a quick bite or walk around after getting a great golden glow. If you’re not a fan of a bikini well you can use a one piece and use a maxi skirt as a cover up too a la @oscarprgirl. If you know me, you know that this third outfit is my favorite choice due the fact I’m a sucker for anything done correctly in leather. This great leather dress is by Cushnie et Ochs whom one of the designer pair is from Maryland which makes me like them even more. The clutch by Balmain gives an added touch to an already great dress. Lets be honest for a second too, you definitely should be able to get a free drinks with a dress like this.

Summer is halfway over and we have been globetrotting around the world getting great style inspiration. I will say that my favorite place so far has been Hawaii, I still dream about the Stella McCartney selections I chose.  Where we will go next week, no idea but I’m sure I’ll figure it out like I always do.
