What to Expect at the Third Annual Teal Carpet Affair

The Third Annual Teal Carpet Affair is around the corner! On September 29th, 7-11pm, join us for a night of cocktails, dinner, and a one of a kind auction! We’ll be hosting the event at a newer, larger venue this year-LUX! Below, we have the answers to some of the most asked questions.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are $30 pre-sale and $40 at the door. You can also email events(at)kcyouthere.com for drop-off service.

What does the price of admission include?

The price of admission includes; top shelf beverages; food catered by Moe’s Southwest Grill; Teal Carpet Affair themed dessert table, hosted by Lola Pearl Bake Shoppe; valet parking (all from 7-11pm) & a room swag bag (limited quantity) filled with items from some of our favorite locations!

Dress attire?

Evening attire recommended. Whether you’re attending with friends or a date, consider this a fun night on the town. Take advantage and strut your stuff down the teal carpet! Check out Karina & Erin on Winging It! Buffalo Style giving shopping tips from local boutiques like Leelee, Anna Grace, and Modern Nostalgia!

Anything extra?

Of course! This is a fundraiser people.,.our goal is not only to raise awareness, but funds for the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. We will be hosting an amazing chinese auction. Some of our items feature autographed memorabilia,  Apple products, gift certificates to some of Buffalo’s best restaurants, over-night stays, donations from our favorite celebrities.

Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week High Fashion Shoot

KC You There was behind the scenes at the kick off to Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week, a high-fashion photo shoot with a theme I am in love with- modern day fairy tales. Dresses designed by Jimmylee designs (you can see him Thursday at the main runway event), handbags by Vania & David, headpieces by Franci Jewelry, and the men wore Tuxedo Junction. Hair by Corto’s and the makeup team was lead by Chrystal Graham, Maria Redd, and Neisha Colon.

Event Recap: First Annual Emerging Business Leaders Awards Gala

Two weeks ago the Emerging Business Leaders held their first annual Awards Gala at Salvatore’s, which celebrated young professionals in WNY. A huge thank you to all those who attended, sponsored, and supported! The night was a hit, complete with more than just awards!

The evening featured a performance by More Than Me, photo booth by Toy Bros, Pinnacle Vodka tasting station, music provided by Kiss 98.5 DJ Tony Mamaluke, chair massages by Massage Envy, and swag bags by Tony Walker.

Who Should Attend? This is a holiday networking event for young professionals who want to make connections while making a difference in the community.  In addition to spreading holiday cheer among each other, emerging business leaders can do the same for the families of veterans or active duty members of the armed services.  Attendees should bring a non-perishable food donation for WNY Heroes.

About WNY Heroes: WNY Heroes provides veterans, members of the armed services, and the widows and children of deceased veterans with access to essential services and resources that support their lives and sustain their dignity.  It is the vision of WNY Heroes to create a centralized resource to meet the needs of veterans and their families through collaborations with partnering community organizations.
