Pinspiration: Black & White

If you know me well, you know I have always had a serious addiction to black and white. Of course learning that the new trend of the season would be black and white, I knew I was a step ahead. Much of my wardrobe is made up of b&w along with accessories and decor. Below are my choices of Pinspiration from my favorite black and white pins:

I’ve decided they will be my Summer investment pick.}Slide3{We’re currently working on our new office space and clearly our color scheme will be black and white with an accent color. I love this office space with a super cute frame wall and b&w storage. These thank you notes would be a perfect desk addition.}

{As soon as I laid eyes on these bottoms, I had to have them. Zara Spring collection is seriously killing it.}

Pinspiration: Office Space

Exciting news! On Friday we signed the lease for our very first office in Buffalo, NY! The location is beyond perfect and the space, although small, is beautiful. We’re now in planning mode and looking for office space inspiration. Of course I lean towards sites like Pinterest and Apartment Therapy along with a few magazines like Elle Decor and House Beautiful.

I’ve been a fan of the “Do More of What Makes You Happy” sign for quite sometime now. I absolutely plan to print out a mini version and frame on my desk.

I have a serious obsession with all things Lucite (especially since it’s the cheaper version of glass). I’ve also had a long lasting obsession with the ghost chair. The desk space on the right pretty much exemplifies my favorite style. The desk lamp adds the perfect touch.

There’s something about this glass desk that makes me happy. Not having a color, you can change-up accessories to make the look different when you get bored with your current desk decor.

I love the idea of an accent wall in a small space. One of our walls has a gorgeous over-sized fire-place, but if we had all 4 walls, I would absolutely try this idea.

Thankfully we have amazing shops in Buffalo like Room, Reimagine, OffBeat Emporium and more. Of course, we’ll look for help from places like Home Goods and Ikea!

Next up, the perfect Manhattan office space!

Wed-spiration {Peach & Grey}

As our readers know, I (Erin) recently got engaged. I’ll be using our blog to post inspiration, decor ideas, and planning tips learned along the way!

Before setting a date or anything silly like that, I quickly set my mind on my color scheme when I first got engaged at the end of December.

Thankfully for brides to be, there’s Pinterest (and Lover.ly, which is “the Pinterest of weddings”, much like as Pose is the “Instagram of fashion”).

My favorite color, teal, instantly popped in my head. However, to be fair to my fiancé, I came up with some alternatives. After endless browsing, I came up with the combo of peach & grey. Grey has always been one of my favorite colors, and I love how peach softens it a bit. Here’s a few of my favorite images.

I still love the idea of a pop of color like lavender, mint, or aqua.

Week of Pinspiration {NYFW Style}

Now that we’re back from Orlando and the PGA Show, I’m out of golf world and straight into fashion world. With NYFW around the corner, I’ve turned to Pinterest for what to wear and outfit inspiration.

1. This look is beyond me. A large (faux) fur coat, over sized sunnies and a turban. | 2. Because it’s Winter, I’m certainly inspired by chic coats. | 3. Taylor Tomasi Hill’s look here is the epitome of street chic. Aside from the fact that I’m obsessed with stripes, her hair might make it even better. | 4. Must have this bag. | 5. This has to be one of my favorite looks from Rachel Zoe. | 6. Most of my looks typically consist of brown, grey and black tones. A bright hat would be the perfect addition.
