{Cheers to a successful fashion week!}

We’re back in Buffalo and have quite a schedule ahead of us. Prepping for a number of major events in the upcoming months, but getting back on schedule with the blog! This week we’re working on a special project with the CW’s Winging It! Buffalo Style – can’t wait to share!

10 Instagram Accounts to Follow During New York Fashion Week

{Instagram shot from KC You There – Alexandre Herchcovtich SS13}

The time has come. New York Fashion Week will begin in just a day..although behind the scenes, the prep never really ends. We decided to compile a list of Instagram accounts we think are worth following during NYFW. This list consists of bloggers, editors and everything in between. A bit broader than the typical list of accounts.

1. MBFashionWeek – Duh.

2. FashionWeekNYC – again, duh.

3. Manrepeller – I mean the girl went beyond sitting front row to walking in Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring 2012 show.

4. NaviaVision – One of the best NYFW production companies. Producing shows for major brands like Timo Weiland, Rafael Cennamo, Sophie Thealet and Diesel Black Gold, to name a few.

5. Fredrdgz – Freddy Rodriguez happens to be one of the best fashion blogger’s out there. He’ll have plenty to cover from presentations to runways.

6. FashionOffice – They seriously know how to bring you every aspect of anything they’re involved with. I mean did you see the pictures from their trip to Paris?!

7. PrettyConnected – Lara seems to be in the mix and brining you great shots from social scenes. She manages to make it to so many events!

8. Bergdorfs – Quite possibly one of my favorite accounts. From beautiful shots inside the store to front row of your favorite designers at NYFW.

9. A1exanderLiang – EIC of KENTON magazine. Alexander hails from VC, brings you great shots from the tents and of course, has super cute selfies.

10. KCyouthere – Did you think I wouldn’t plug us in? With access to behind the scenes action as well as a number of events and shows we’ll be attending, we promise to keep you fully updated. Check out our ‘Behind the Scenes at NYFW via Instagram’ post from last season. We’re bringing you the best of both worlds – work & play.

See you at the tents,

Week of Pinspiration {NYFW Style}

Now that we’re back from Orlando and the PGA Show, I’m out of golf world and straight into fashion world. With NYFW around the corner, I’ve turned to Pinterest for what to wear and outfit inspiration.

1. This look is beyond me. A large (faux) fur coat, over sized sunnies and a turban. | 2. Because it’s Winter, I’m certainly inspired by chic coats. | 3. Taylor Tomasi Hill’s look here is the epitome of street chic. Aside from the fact that I’m obsessed with stripes, her hair might make it even better. | 4. Must have this bag. | 5. This has to be one of my favorite looks from Rachel Zoe. | 6. Most of my looks typically consist of brown, grey and black tones. A bright hat would be the perfect addition.

If you’re not already, pin with us here.

Stay inspired,

Fall 2013 Bridal Gown Trends

The fall bridal fashion week wrapped up this weekend in New York City, giving us a peek at trends for fall 2013! With fall the new June, I’m sure most brides to be had their eye on the trends for this season. While not too much changes with bridal trends, I picked out a few that caught my eye.

We saw plenty of illusion necklines during NYFW, so it’s no surprise to see that trend spilling over into the bridal market. I love this look as it reminds me of once upon a time, when brides didn’t have the option of wearing a strapless gown.

Monique Lhullier

Vera Wang

Perfect for fall and those winter weddings (who are these winter brides, anyways?), the long sleeve is here to stay. Here’s a peek at a few nontraditional long sleeve gowns.

Claire Pettibone

Floral headpieces have been spotted everywhere in the fashion blogging community in 2012; here’s a few of my picks for veils and headpieces.
