Pinspiration: Black & White

If you know me well, you know I have always had a serious addiction to black and white. Of course learning that the new trend of the season would be black and white, I knew I was a step ahead. Much of my wardrobe is made up of b&w along with accessories and decor. Below are my choices of Pinspiration from my favorite black and white pins:

I’ve decided they will be my Summer investment pick.}Slide3{We’re currently working on our new office space and clearly our color scheme will be black and white with an accent color. I love this office space with a super cute frame wall and b&w storage. These thank you notes would be a perfect desk addition.}

Pinspiration: Office Space

Exciting news! On Friday we signed the lease for our very first office in Buffalo, NY! The location is beyond perfect and the space, although small, is beautiful. We’re now in planning mode and looking for office space inspiration. Of course I lean towards sites like Pinterest and Apartment Therapy along with a few magazines like Elle Decor and House Beautiful.

I’ve been a fan of the “Do More of What Makes You Happy” sign for quite sometime now. I absolutely plan to print out a mini version and frame on my desk.

I have a serious obsession with all things Lucite (especially since it’s the cheaper version of glass). I’ve also had a long lasting obsession with the ghost chair. The desk space on the right pretty much exemplifies my favorite style. The desk lamp adds the perfect touch.

There’s something about this glass desk that makes me happy. Not having a color, you can change-up accessories to make the look different when you get bored with your current desk decor.

I love the idea of an accent wall in a small space. One of our walls has a gorgeous over-sized fire-place, but if we had all 4 walls, I would absolutely try this idea.

Thankfully we have amazing shops in Buffalo like Room, Reimagine, OffBeat Emporium and more. Of course, we’ll look for help from places like Home Goods and Ikea!

Next up, the perfect Manhattan office space!

Week of Pinspiration {NYFW Style}

Now that we’re back from Orlando and the PGA Show, I’m out of golf world and straight into fashion world. With NYFW around the corner, I’ve turned to Pinterest for what to wear and outfit inspiration.

1. This look is beyond me. A large (faux) fur coat, over sized sunnies and a turban. | 2. Because it’s Winter, I’m certainly inspired by chic coats. | 3. Taylor Tomasi Hill’s look here is the epitome of street chic. Aside from the fact that I’m obsessed with stripes, her hair might make it even better. | 4. Must have this bag. | 5. This has to be one of my favorite looks from Rachel Zoe. | 6. Most of my looks typically consist of brown, grey and black tones. A bright hat would be the perfect addition.

Week of Pinspiration {Beauty Trends}

C & I are currently in Florida and have had quite the relaxing weekend. It seems one thing that I always catch myself doing while relaxing is finding new inspiration on Pinterest. This time around I realized just how many beauty pins I had and thought perhaps I was on to something. I’m always open to trying new trends, so this week I plan to try one of these:

I can’t wait to try both of these nail styles. Between the gold metallic and the jewel tone nails, my nails will be super primped.

I’ve always been obsessed with thick and beautiful eyebrows. Her brows match her face and hair color well, I doubt I could go this thick with my color hair, but I hope to get close to it.

Although I’m not quite sure I could pull off this pink pony, in my next life I definitely plan to.

I love everything about this shot. Although black and white, you can tell her makeup was flawless, the deep lip color matches her deep hair part, everything just works.

I’m not sure I’ll be getting over the top knot any time soon. I especially love how it looks here on the beautiful fashion blogger behind

Week of Pinspiration {Dinner Party}

I’m constantly on the hunt for unique and simple dinner party inspiration. Whether I am using my dinner party inspiration board on Pinterest for weddings or private events, finding details that make a tablescape stand out is just half the fun. The other half tends to lean towards the budget I have to make it all work! As of recently, here are a few of my favorite dinner party tablescapes:

1. I absolutely love lanterns spread across the center of a dinner tablescape providing a romantic ambiance. | 2. Sometimes a handful of white filled vases can do the trick. | 3. The idea of long stem candles, a champagne filled ice bucket and individual seat cushions on a bench just work. | 4. With Emerald serving as the color of the year, this table is set for perfection. Of course the individual cupcakes make for the perfect detail. | 5. Some what of a Winteresque table scape, the wood “chargers” serve for some serious DIY inspo. | 6. I had to add this final detail. The golden animals have become quite the trend and frankly one of the cheapest and chicest DIY projects you’ll ever come across. How adorable is this detail?!
